The placement activity is coordinated by the Placement Cell, which is the main interface between the corporate world and Department of Commerce. It is headed by the Placement Advisor with vast industry experience. Placement Advisor assists the students in pursuing their career in the areas of their interest and facilitates their entry into the industry. Understanding the importance of using the right knowledge, skill sets and aptitude for the right assignment, the Placement Cell lays a great emphasis on giving corporate and students the choice of mutual selection. It is responsible for identifying the right student- organization fit; it selects targets and invites organizations to the campus for summer and final placements.
